Travel CT / Rad Tech Job Details

• Location: Kerrville, Texas (78028) – Texas Hill Country
• Healthcare Setting: Cath Lab

• End Date: May 18, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: 10-12 days per month (including weekends and weeknights)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,490 - $2,670
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Facility Housing: Available for traveling healthcare professionals

CT / Rad Tech Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, CT Technologist, or Radiologic Technologist
• Valid Texas State License for Radiologic Technologist or Cath Lab Tech
• Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS accepted; ACLS and BLS (AHA required)
• Experience with Impella and thrombectomy procedures preferred
• First-time travel healthcare professionals welcome
• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor for cardiology, vascular intervention, and interventional radiology cases in the Cath Lab
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, thrombectomy, and Impella insertion
• Perform accurate hemodynamic monitoring and EKG lead placement
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper equipment setup for all procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation (10-12 days/month, including weekends and weeknights)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Maintain Cath Lab equipment, inventory, and supplies
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols for patient safety
