CT / Rad Tech Job Details

• Location: Charleston, South Carolina (29425) – South Carolina healthcare jobs
• Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital, Magnet Hospital
• Unit: Adult Cardio Cath Lab
• Contract Length: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: February 23, 2026
• End Date: May 25, 2026
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: 1–2 nights per week, one weekend per six weeks, possible holiday call
• Charting: EPIC electronic medical records
• Parking: Nights and weekends only; $20 one-time pass

Qualifications for CT / Radiologic Technologist

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech); travel healthcare experience a plus
• National certifications required: SCRQSA, ACLS, BLS (AHA only)
• Preferred: CCI with RCIS/RCES; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also accepted
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to accommodate on-call schedule
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac and vascular imaging and procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in a high-volume cath lab (5 rooms plus Hybrid OR)
• Assist with Right/Left Heart Catheterizations, PCI, Complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, Peripheral, and Vascular interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
• Complete all required training modules and orientation prior to assignment start
