CT / Rad Tech Job Details
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina (29425) – South Carolina healthcare jobs
- Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital, Magnet Hospital
- Unit: Adult Cardio Cath Lab
- Contract Length: 13-week travel assignment
- Start Date: February 23, 2026
- End Date: May 25, 2026
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: 1–2 nights per week, one weekend per six weeks, possible holiday call
- Charting: EPIC electronic medical records
- Parking: Nights and weekends only; $20 one-time pass
Qualifications for CT / Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech); travel healthcare experience a plus
- National certifications required: SCRQSA, ACLS, BLS (AHA only)
- Preferred: CCI with RCIS/RCES; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also accepted
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Ability to accommodate on-call schedule
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac and vascular imaging and procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in a high-volume cath lab (5 rooms plus Hybrid OR)
- Assist with Right/Left Heart Catheterizations, PCI, Complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, Peripheral, and Vascular interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR
- Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
- Complete all required training modules and orientation prior to assignment start
