Registered Dietitian Job Details

Assignment Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
Location: Orlando, FL 32817 – Florida healthcare jobs
Setting: On-site, clinic-based
Schedule: 5 shifts/week, 8-hour days (typically 7:30am – 4:00pm; flexible)
Hours per Week: 36
No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call
Electronic Medical Record: Avatar EMR
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1610-$1910

Registered Dietitian Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) in a clinical or healthcare setting
Active Registered Dietitian credential required
General knowledge of treating eating disorders preferred; training provided
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with EMR systems preferred (Avatar experience a plus)

Dietitian Responsibilities

Conduct nutritional assessments and create individualized dietary care plans for patients
Support patients with eating disorders and other dietary needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient interactions and progress in the EMR system
Educate patients and families on nutrition, healthy eating habits, and wellness
