Travel Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Huntington, West Virginia (25702)
• Healthcare Setting: Cath Lab
• Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist
• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:45 - 17:15)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: One night of call per week and every 4th weekend (Friday evening to Monday morning)
• Start Date: February 9, 2026
• End Date: May 11, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,380 - $2,550 per week

Qualifications for CT / Rad Tech – Cath Lab

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Proficient in scrubbing for Cath Lab procedures, including Left and Right Heart Cath, Coronary Intervention, Peripheral procedures, and PE Thrombectomy
• Experience with Phillips X-Ray equipment preferred
• First-time healthcare travelers are encouraged to apply
• Ability to perform as first assist to physicians, including panning the table and moving the camera
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of Huntington, WV) are not eligible

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist physicians during interventional Cath Lab procedures
• Operate and document using Phillips X-Ray equipment and GE MacLab systems
• Participate in on-call rotation (one night per week and every 4th weekend)
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain compliance with all safety and healthcare protocols
