Job Details

• Location: Boone, North Carolina (Boone, NC 28607)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel CT tech / travel radiology tech position)
• Clinical Setting: Cardiac Cath Inpatient Unit
• Shift: 5 x 8-hour day shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), weekdays only
• On-Call: Rotating weekly call (Mon–Fri 5:00 PM–7:00 AM; 24 hours on weekends); minimal call-ins (1–2 per week)
• Employment Type: Travel assignment
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030–$2190/week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT / Rad Tech experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional setting
• Active North Carolina license or valid multistate license (CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must be valid for the duration of the contract)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR (recent, hands-on experience required)
• Experience with moderate sedation and common cath lab procedures
• Valid driver’s license for address verification (candidates must reside at least 40 miles from the facility)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Scrubs: All navy or all white

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation and document patient responses
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain CT and radiology imaging equipment
• Accurately document procedures, patient care, and imaging results in EPIC EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to call-ins
• Collaborate with cardiology, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory compliance
