- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490 – $2,670 per week
- Shift Schedule:
- Monday: Off
- Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Sunday: Off
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days (with one extended shift)
Job Requirements
- Active Mammography Technician certification and/or ARRT (M) certification (or state equivalent) required
- Valid state license as required for Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with hands-on mammography experience
- Experience with digital mammography and PACS; 3D tomosynthesis experience preferred
- Knowledge of MQSA quality standards, image quality control, and patient positioning/comfort techniques
- Completion of required onboarding health and background screenings (MMR, Influenza, TB test, Health Statement, Criminal Background Check, CORI, etc.)
- Resume, professional references, skills checklist, and education verification required for submission
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic and screening mammography imaging in accordance with established protocols, MQSA, and safety standards
- Position and compress patients appropriately to obtain diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and dignity
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, perform routine QC checks, and escalate equipment issues to biomedical engineering
- Accurately document patient information, exam details, and maintain imaging records in PACS and EMR systems
- Collaborate with radiologists, breast surgeons, and multidisciplinary care teams to support timely, patient-centered care and follow-up
- Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA), infection control, and institutional compliance guidelines
