Job Details / Position Summary
- Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist
- Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046 (Gwinnett County, Atlanta area)
- Duration: 12 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 20, 2026)
- Shift: 8-hour evening shifts, Monday–Friday (2:00pm – 10:30pm)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,530–$1,650/week
- Specialties / Modalities: Vascular, MRI, CT, DEXA, Diagnostic Radiography
- Setting: On-site (hospital/clinic-based imaging department)
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiology Technologist / Rad Tech / Radiologic Technologist
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred (Cerner imaging documentation and workflow)
- Ability to commit to the full 12-week travel assignment
- No local candidates within 50 miles (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible)
Responsibilities / Key Duties
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities: MRI, CT, DEXA, vascular studies, and general diagnostic radiography
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiologic equipment in accordance with departmental protocols and radiation safety standards
- Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation using Cerner EMR and departmental reporting tools
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to support diagnostic workflows and patient care
- Adhere to infection control, radiation protection, and departmental safety policies
- Provide compassionate patient care with clear communication and patient education throughout the imaging process
