Job Details

• Location: Bethlehem, PA 18015 (Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania)
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Unit (Med/Surg RN / medical-surgical nurse)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend & Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site Registered Nurse position
• Compensation: $79.05/hour
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910-$2010

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (PA RN)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (medical-surgical nurse / Med/Surg RN)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and communication skills
• Ability to work scheduled every other weekend and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on the medical-surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and accurately document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments safely and per hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment in accordance with hospital policies and infection control standards
