Job Details
- Location: Munster, Indiana (46321) – Northwest Indiana, convenient commute to Chicago; family-friendly community with good schools, parks, and dining.
- Assignment Type: Travel Radiology / Travel CT Tech
- Duration: 26 weeks (March 23, 2026 – September 21, 2026)
- Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 15:30 or 10:00 – 18:30)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call: Every 3rd weekend (Fri night, Sat 24hr, Sun 24hr)
Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,710 - $2,920 per week
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), or procedural hybrid OR work; strong neuro experience preferred
- Valid Indiana Radiologic Technologist license or compact state RT license
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Fluoroscopy permit / Fluoro credential required
- Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) for procedure documentation
- Experience with Siemens, Philips, or GE Innova IGS angiography systems preferred
- COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations required (medical exemptions only)
Key Responsibilities
- Support complex neurovascular and cerebrovascular procedures in a hybrid OR, including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm repair/embolization, AVM/AVF interventions, and carotid procedures
- Set up and prepare sterile field, advanced imaging equipment, and procedural trays; maintain sterile technique and room circulation
- Operate and troubleshoot bi-plane C-arm and angiography systems during endovascular and neurointerventional cases
- Assist with device preparation and handling of standard IR tools: microcatheters, guidewires, coils, stents, and embolic agents
- Monitor patient status, manage imaging protocols, and ensure accurate access site prep and procedure documentation in Epic
- Participate in call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate closely with neuro-interventionalists, radiologists, anesthesiology, and perioperative teams to optimize patient care
