Job Details

• Location: Fort Myers, FL 33901 (Lee County)
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing – Operating Room (OR RN)
• Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days (Mon, Thu & Fri; 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call: Required (on-call rotation)
• EMR: Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1700-$1790/week

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or compact RN license (must be verified through Nursys at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, including at least 1 year of orthopedic OR experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program OR 5 years of relevant clinical experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred (Florida travel nursing experience a plus)
• Ability to float to other ORs within the health system/sister campuses as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room setting
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures with strong emphasis on orthopedic cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and perioperative team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Epic EMR (Epic experience preferred)
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and float to additional ORs when required
• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced surgical environment
