• Location: Liberty, MO 64068 (Kansas City area) — Missouri nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Travel Contract)
• Start Date: March 29, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (Night Shift RN)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,990–$2,090
• Unit: Telemetry (cardiac monitoring / telemetry nurse duties)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Yes, unless requested off in advance
• Floating: Yes, as needed (may float to other med-surg units)
• EMR: Altera Sunrise (similar to Cerner; prior experience helpful but not required)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — eligible for Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience (cardiac monitoring experience required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Nicotine-free facility — candidates must be nicotine free
• Ability to attend required orientation sessions
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
• New graduates not accepted for this position

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Telemetry unit, continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to arrhythmias or changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders with accurate documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, cardiology, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the EMR (Altera Sunrise)
• Float to other units as required to support patient care needs and staffing demands
• Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and unit-based quality improvement activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff
