• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: 200 West Med-Surg (Medical/Surgical unit)
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Orientation: 32 hours

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1890/week

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience preferred (Medical-Surgical RN)
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Compliance screening includes nicotine testing
• Strong skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, rapid response/code team participation, IV insulin protocols, wound care, and post-surgical management
• Experience with adult patient populations

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Medical/Surgical unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias (telemetry RN experience)
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide wound care
• Care for patients with surgical drains, chest tubes, tracheostomies, and feeding tubes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using facility charting systems
• Support patients and families with education and compassionate communication
