Setting: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Unit (acute care hospital)
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Shifts: Nights 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Employment Type: Local, on-site hospital RN (medical-surgical nursing job)
Hourly Pay Rate: $81.84

Qualifications & Certifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience in an acute care setting
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
Strong clinical assessment, telemetry monitoring, and communication skills
Ability to work the required every-other-weekend and holiday schedule

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg and Telemetry units
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm observations
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
Maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for patients and staff
