• Location: Cumming, GA 30041 — Travel nursing job in Forsyth County / North Georgia
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am – 7:30pm; schedule varies)
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1500-$1580/week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care / Intermediate Care or Med/Surg nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Demonstrated Med/Surg and PCU/Intermediate care skills, including management of complex acute patients
• No local candidates within 50 miles for this travel RN assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit with a focus on acute medicine and med/surg populations
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including telemetry monitoring and rapid recognition of clinical changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments safely and according to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy, and support staff—to develop and execute care plans
• Use advanced clinical judgment to manage complex patient cases and escalate concerns appropriately
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record and communicate updates with patients and families
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
