• Shift: 12-hour days (07:00–19:30), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1520–$1600

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg experience within the specialty (acute care or GI preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
• BLS certification required
• Perioperative care experience preferred
• Must be willing to work on-site; no local candidates within 50 miles

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients in the Acute GI Medicine Unit
• Perform clinical assessments, monitor patient conditions, and document changes in status
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, GI specialists, therapists) to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete timely documentation in the medical chart
• Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and follow-up coordination
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies for acute care and GI patients
