Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist
• ARRT (R) certification or equivalent preferred; Special Procedures Tech certification preferred
• Relevant state licensure as required for Missouri CT technologists
• Familiarity with CT protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiation safety (ALARA)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team
• Strong communication, patient-care, and organizational skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures (including contrast-enhanced and routine CT exams) in accordance with established protocols
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, perform QA/QC checks, and report equipment issues promptly
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; screen patients for contraindications and contrast allergies
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and dose reduction best practices
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and exam logs in the radiology information system
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic imaging and patient flow
• Assist with other radiology procedures as needed and support the department’s workflow and quality standards
