• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 - $1,580 (competitive travel nurse pay)

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel nurse assignment)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), variable schedule

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department nursing experience (ER RN, ED RN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (Cerner EMR) required
• No local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment as an ER Registered Nurse
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute and critical conditions; perform rapid triage and clinical decision-making
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, techs, respiratory therapy, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency interventions and life-saving procedures as needed
• Document patient care accurately and timely using Cerner EMR and adhere to charting best practices
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, safety standards, and ED protocols
