- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
- Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 – 17:30)
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Cath Lab Tech)
- Scrubs: Provided (Royal Blue)
- Unit: Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist
- Call: Weekend, overnight, and holiday call required
- Orientation: Onsite orientation with modules completed during orientation
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience (PCI, diagnostic caths preferred)
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R) or CCI (RCIS)
- Valid Allied Health license in Oklahoma or Compact State
- Experience with electronic charting systems (any charting/EMR system)
- Proficiency with sterile technique, isolation precautions/PPE
- Ability to float to similar units as needed (EP lab, IR support)
- First-time travelers welcome — travel healthcare and contract clinicians encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures as a Cath Lab Tech / CT Technologist
- Perform device implant support, closure device deployment, and stent placement
- Set up imaging and cath lab equipment, maintain sterile field, and perform room circulation and scrub duties
- Interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias; assist with ACLS protocols as needed
- Participate in left and right heart catheterizations, PCI/PTCA, IABP placement/removal, and rotational atherectomy (rotablator)
- Provide care for adult and older adult patient populations in a high-acuity cardiac setting
- Participate in weekend, overnight, and holiday call rotation to support continuous patient care
