Travel Radiology Technologist (ARRT-certified Rad Tech) – Fredericksburg, VA | 13-week travel assignment (Apr 20–Jul 18, 2026). ARRT and BLS required. - Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center (surgical imaging, perioperative imaging)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
- Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday, Day shifts (between 7:30am – 5:30pm EST)
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- No call or holidays required

Radiology Technologist Job Requirements
- Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Virginia Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical X-ray / Radiology Technologist experience
- Recent hands-on experience with c-arm and/or o-arm within the past 8 months
- Comfortable working in the OR, PACU, and with portable/bedside imaging
- Ability to move or lift patients, assist transfers, and stand for extended periods
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and clear communication skills
- Patient-focused, compassionate, and an effective team player in fast-paced surgical settings
Key Responsibilities – Radiology Tech / X-ray Tech
- Verify patient identity and review physician orders and surgical schedules prior to imaging
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment (including c-arm/o-arm) to capture high-quality diagnostic and intraoperative images
- Position patients safely and accurately, including lifting and moving patients with limited mobility
- Perform portable imaging and OR imaging while minimizing radiation exposure and following ALARA principles
- Explain procedures, address patient questions, and provide age-appropriate care
- Observe and report patient status changes and assist the care team as needed in the perioperative environment
- Ensure images are properly labeled, uploaded to PACS, and available for Radiologist review
- Maintain accurate patient records, follow dual-identifier procedures, and use electronic health record systems
- Promptly notify management of equipment issues and participate in routine equipment safety checks
