Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist with experience in operating in the Operating Room (OR) and performing fluoroscopy procedures. This is a travel assignment with a 1st shift, 12-hour schedule and approximately 36 guaranteed hours per week. The position may require floating to an outpatient center and participating in a call rotation with other staff.

• Number of Beds: 153
• Patient Population: Primarily geriatric and adult patients, with some pediatric cases
• Patient Volume: 20-30 patients per day
• Equipment Used: GE, Phillips imaging equipment
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Paragon
• Weekend Hours: May be asked to help if needed for PTO coverage
• Dress Code: Black scrubs; open-toe shoes are not allowed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience operating in the Operating Room (OR)
• Experience performing fluoroscopy procedures
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CT and MRI imaging modalities
• Team player attitude and willingness to assist where needed

Additional Information

• Call requirements involve rotation with other staff members
• May float to outpatient imaging center as needed
• Common diagnoses encountered include congestive heart failure (CHF)
• Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
