• Title: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Perioperative Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40

Required Qualifications

• Current Maine RN license (required for travel nurses in Maine)
• BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (per state mandate)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience; perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and function as a team player
• Flexibility with hours and assignments in a busy OR environment

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care in the Operating Room as permitted by the State of Maine Board of Nursing
• Support surgical teams as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse depending on assignment
• Follow hospital policies and evidence-based procedures for surgical patient safety
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety
• Deliver compassionate care and patient education to surgical patients and families throughout the perioperative process
