- Title: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Perioperative Nurse
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

- Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour days

Required Qualifications
- Current Maine RN license (required for travel nurses in Maine)
- BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (per state mandate)
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience; perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and function as a team player
- Flexibility with hours and assignments in a busy OR environment
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative patient care in the Operating Room as permitted by the State of Maine Board of Nursing
- Support surgical teams as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse depending on assignment
- Follow hospital policies and evidence-based procedures for surgical patient safety
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety
- Deliver compassionate care and patient education to surgical patients and families throughout the perioperative process
