• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,100 - $2,210
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: May 4, 2026 – End: August 1, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:30pm – 7:00am)
• Setting: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) – Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent IMCU/PCU or Cardiac Stepdown (Telemetry RN) experience
• Active RN license in New York (must hold NY RN; multi-state licenses acceptable if valid in NY)
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with EPIC EMR (documentation and charting)
• Completed skills checklist relevant to Cardiac Stepdown/Telemetry specialty
• Up-to-date resume demonstrating relevant IMCU/Stepdown experience
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed (team-oriented travel nurse)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients (18+) with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, trauma, and post-operative diagnoses
• Continuous telemetry monitoring and management of cardiac patients (temp pacers, arrhythmia assessment)
• Manage specialty equipment: temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines (A-lines), Bipap, Neptune Vapo, and chronic vents (RT support available)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, RT, PT/OT, case management) to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC EMR and follow unit protocols
• Adhere to professional dress and unit standards (navy blue scrubs) and be prepared to float to other units as required
