Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience — ER RN experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required (AHA)
• Ability to work every other weekend and 12-hour night shifts
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills for acute care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan in a busy ER
• Assess, triage, prioritize, and manage patient needs in a fast-paced emergency department
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Perform rapid clinical assessments and implement life-saving measures when needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
