Travel Job Details – Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,080 - $2,230 (competitive travel CT technologist pay)
- Location: Burlington, NC 27215 – Burlington, North Carolina (Alamance County)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
- Shift: 4 x 10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM); weekends & holidays as needed
- Call Requirement: 12 days in an 8-week schedule; after-hours during the week (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and 24-hour weekend coverage (Fri–Mon; 2–3 weekends per 8 weeks)
- Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab – Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath procedures
- Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
- Charting System: Epic experience required

Job Requirements – CT / Rad Tech / Cardiac Cath Lab
- Minimum 2 years of diagnostic & interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience (CT/Rad Tech or Cardiovascular Technologist)
- RCIS certification required (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
- IR (Interventional Radiology) experience preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Valid state license in hand at time of submission
- COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Willingness to float to other departments during flu season or high census
- Education verification through a third party required
- No locals accepted – candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius
- First-time travel technologists are welcome
Key Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath / Interventional Imaging
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures using CT and fluoroscopic imaging
- Assist with electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures, pacemaker and ICD insertions, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, angioplasty, carotid stenting, and endovascular interventions
- Set up imaging equipment, maintain a sterile field, and circulate or scrub procedures as required
- Prep vascular access sites and manage vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) and hemostasis
- Monitor patients continuously, recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, and perform accurate EKG lead placement
- Respond to rapid response and code teams; follow ACLS protocols when indicated
- Adhere to isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and departmental safety standards
- Participate in orientation, competency validation, and complete required training modules
