 </li><li>Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
 </li><li>Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

 </li><li>Care Setting: Acute care Emergency Room — 5-bed ER with 2 trauma bays
 </li><li>Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend; may be asked to participate in holiday rotation

<h2>Job Requirements / Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
 <li>Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required — trauma and critical care experience strongly preferred
 </li><li>Active RN license: New Mexico or compact (multistate) RN license accepted
 </li><li>Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP, NIHSS
 </li><li>Proficient with mixing and titrating critical drips (e.g., Amiodarone, Cardizem, Epinephrine, Insulin)
 </li><li>Strong critical thinking, triage, and independent decision-making skills
 </li><li>Experience from trauma Level 1 or Level 2 EDs accepted
 </li><li>First-time travel nurses welcome — travel nurse and travel RN applicants encouraged to apply
 </li><li>Completion of hospital orientation modules (approx. 20 hours) prior to floor assignment
</li></ul>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
 <li>Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across a wide range of diagnoses from minor injuries to major trauma
 </li><li>Assess, triage, and manage patients in a small, fast-paced ED environment
 </li><li>Mix, titrate, and monitor critical drips per protocol
 </li><li>Read and interpret telemetry and 12-lead EKGs to guide clinical decisions
 </li><li>Collaborate closely with ED physicians, techs, EMS, and interdisciplinary hospital staff to optimize patient flow
 </li><li>Assist with EMS coordination, trauma activations, and rapid patient disposition
 </li><li>Complete department orientation and required competency modules prior to clinical shifts
 </li><li>Maintain professional appearance and compliance with dress code (navy blue scrubs; jackets without hoods)
