Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,060 – $2,210 (Travel Radiology Technologist / Cath Lab Technologist)
• Location: Cumming, GA 30041 (Forsyth County / North Atlanta area)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (7:00am – 5:30pm) with call
• Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Contract – Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) / Radiology / Electrophysiology (EP) procedures

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist or in interventional radiology / cath lab imaging
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Electrophysiology Technologist certification preferred (EP technologist)
• Proven experience with fluoroscopy, image-guided procedures, and cardiac catheterization
• Must be willing to take scheduled on-call shifts
• No local candidates within 50 miles for this travel opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization, angiography, and electrophysiology studies (EP).
• Operate and troubleshoot radiology/cath lab imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy systems and digital imaging devices.
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, ensure proper radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after invasive procedures; provide clinical support and emergency response as needed.
• Perform imaging acquisition, documentation, and quality control for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in the cardiac cath lab.
• Participate in on-call rotation and assist with room turnover, supplies, and equipment sterilization.
