Job Details – Travel Nursing Job (York, Maine)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010
• Location: York, Maine (03909) — scenic coastal community; ideal for travel nurses seeking New England nursing jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am (Night Shift Registered Nurse)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; no block scheduling; no call required
• Position Type: Travel Contract – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN)

Required Qualifications – Med/Surg RN

• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN) experience in acute care
• Active RN license (state of practice required)
• ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
• Telemetry experience preferred — experience with cardiac monitoring is a plus
• Flu vaccine mandated by the State of Maine

Responsibilities – Medical Surgical Nursing

• Deliver high-quality patient care in Med-Surg Ortho and Med-Surg Adult units as a Travel Nurse
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry monitoring when applicable
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members (physicians, therapists, and support staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in electronic health records in a timely manner
• Participate in every other weekend rotation as scheduled
• Adhere to hospital and state regulations, including mandatory flu vaccination and facility policies
