Job Description

The primary responsibilities of the Medical Imager/X-ray/CT include:

• Preparing and screening patients for imaging procedures.
• Producing diagnostic images of the human body to assist in diagnosing medical issues.
• Explaining and performing radiologic procedures with consideration for the patient's understanding and age.
• Assessing patient pain and making appropriate physician contacts for intervention.
• Ensuring patient safety and minimizing healthcare errors during all aspects of patient care.

Qualifications

• Required:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Currently Registered in Radiography and CT.
  • Current BCLS certification.
• Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • 2 years of experience (willing to train the CT portion for the right candidate).
  • Compliance with continuing education credit requirements.
