Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)

Location: Houston, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: Neuro/IR Cath Lab
• Facility has a Cath Lab suite and 1 Hybrid room with state-of-the-art equipment
• Procedures performed: Cardiovascular, Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular, Electrophysiology (EP), Neuro, and Hybrid procedures
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Floor: 4th floor Cath Lab, South Tower

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Neuro/IR procedures (primary role)
• Additional experience in Cath Lab, Vascular, and Electrophysiology procedures is desired but not required
• Strong clinical skills with ability to manage a variety of procedures and patients
• Experience in scrubbing/panning and circulating in interventional procedures required; monitoring preferred but not mandatory

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Radiology Technologist certification (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Technologist certification required
• Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) credential preferred

Work Environment & Expectations

• Must work well with diverse personalities, function effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and ability to stay calm under pressure required
• On-call duty approximately 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
• Scrubs provided
