Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel)

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Position Details

• Specialty: CT Tech

• Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit
• Pediatric emergency room with 30 pediatric subspecialists
• Busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas
• Only open heart and interventional cardiology in the region

• Hospital Safety Grade: “A”
• Number of Beds in Unit: 12 (FSED)
• Unit Staffing: 1 Tech on-site 7a – 7p & 1 Tech on-site 7p – 7a
• Scheduling: 1 Tech on-site 7a – 7:30p & 1 Tech on-site 7p – 7:30a
• Floating Policy: May need to float to the Hospital Emergency Department if needed

Equipment & Technology

• GE CT
• GE X-Ray
• GE portable X-Ray
• Bayer Med-Rad Injector
• EMR Systems: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PAC’s

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (R)(CT) Certification (required)
  • BLS Certification
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT Tech specialty
• Skills:

  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Self-motivated
  • Advanced skills in performing X-Ray and CT exams
• Dress Code: Black scrubs required

• May be required to float to other units such as the Emergency Department.
