Description

Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)

Location: Albany, New York

Job Description

Perform diagnostic examinations during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures under the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist.
Collect and record subjective data to assist in establishing accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses.
Call commitment: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month.

Requirements

Minimum education: Associate Degree or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program.
Certification: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
Experience: At least 2 years in the cardiovascular specialty.
Certifications to maintain: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Local candidates from certain counties are no longer accepted (effective 1/11/2024).

13 weeks
