Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Required Experience: Minimum 2+ years as a Cath Lab Tech (highest required experience)
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Shift:
- 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
Weekend Requirements: 1-2 weekends on call during the 6-week schedule
Call Requirements:
- Weekday call from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM next day
- Weekend call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
Float Requirements: Between two Cath Labs (RN and Tech)

Certifications Required

ACLS
BLS
ARRT
Kentucky License (or proof of application) or RCIS

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 6 procedure rooms in Cath Lab
Patient Ratio: 1:1 (one case at a time in procedure room)
Equipment: GE X-ray systems
EMR Systems: McKesson Cardiology and Cerner
Preferred Experience: Structural heart experience preferred

Skills & Personality Fit

Detail oriented
Strong troubleshooting skills
Clear and concise communication
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment

Additional Notes

Candidates without prior McKesson, Census, or Cerner experience will be considered; online training available
Active Kentucky license not required at submission but proof of application must be provided
Unit closed on Christmas and New Year's Day
Scrubs provided by hospital
