Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - General Progressive Care Unit

Shift Requirement: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5-6

Additional Information

Unit Description: 37-bed unit; step-down, cardiac, medical, neuro, surgical stepdown nursing.
Float Requirements: Must float to MSO and Ortho units; potential to float to ICU for non-critical patients.
Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday) and holidays.
On Call/Call Back Requirements: None.

Required Licenses and Certifications

Active NC or Compact state license
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
NIHSS

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2+ years in specialty
Must have completed at least 1 travel contract
Skills required: Telemetry, TR Bands, Blood Products, Heparin/Cardiac drips
Charting Experience: EPIC required

Compliance

Compliance documentation is due 7 business days prior to the start date.
