Unit Information

Unit: Emergency Department (52 beds)
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, 1 midlevel provider per pod
- Night Shift: Same as day shift
Patient Ratios:
- Average 3:1
- Low acuity 5:1
- Pediatrics: team nursing approach
Equipment: Alaris infusion pumps
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Required Qualifications

Current Kansas RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH
Experience in travel nursing or working in large facility emergency departments

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC certification
Experience with Meditech EMR
Experience working in a 52-bed or larger emergency department
