Location: Wichita, Kansas

Unit Size: 37 beds
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, 1 Unit Clerk
- Night Shift: 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated)
Equipment Used: PCA Pumps, IV Pumps, Chest Tubes
EMR System: Meditech

Required Certifications & Licenses

Registered Nurse License
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIH Certification

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in the RN specialty (Telemetry)

Typical Procedures Performed

Central lines management
Medication drips
Heart Cath recovery
Bubble studies
