Job Description
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, full day
- Weekend Requirement: No
- On Call: No
- Setting: Outpatient adult rehab or adult inpatient rehab
- Patient Population: Experience with adult neurological patients required; Spanish speaking highly preferred due to high percentage of Spanish-speaking patients
- Work Environment: Must be able to work independently
Requirements
- Licensure: Valid Florida Speech Language Pathology license (must be valid for the entire assignment)
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) through the American Speech Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Additional Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Experience:
- Experience with adult neurological patients (required)
- Experience in outpatient adult or adult inpatient rehab settings (required)
Additional Information
- Candidates living within Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties are not eligible to apply
- License and certifications must be current and valid for the duration of the assignment; renewals must be completed prior to start date if expiring
- Spanish language skills are highly preferred due to patient demographics
