Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

Location: Great Barrington, Massachusetts

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience
• Experience with PP/MB (Postpartum/Mother-Baby) required
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
• Must have a permanent address included with profile
• Must have own vehicle for assignment
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included and verified at submission; no more than 3 days of RTO allowed
• Scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; no scheduling changes after offer
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times (no vague availability)
• Cannot be located within 50 miles of the facility

• Skills checklist relevant to the position, current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment
• All required licenses and certifications must be uploaded with profile

Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE certification

State License

• Must hold a valid Massachusetts nursing license

Facility Overview

• Community hospital with Joint Commission accreditation and designation as a Critical Access Hospital and Primary Stroke Center
• Offers inpatient medical services including general surgery, orthopedics, maternity, and 24-hour emergency and hospitalist coverage
• Provides ambulatory surgical services in multiple specialties including gynecology and orthopedics
• Offers outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services, wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cardiopulmonary rehab, physical and occupational therapy, and primary care clinics
• Recognized nationally for high patient satisfaction and experience

Additional Notes

• Holiday coverage requires working two of the following holiday periods:

  • Thanksgiving and the Friday/weekend after
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the Friday/weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the Friday/weekend after
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Holiday and overtime pay multipliers apply
• Extensions ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered for extension in early 2026
