Job Opportunity: Mammography Technician

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Every other Saturday rotation

Licensing & Certification Requirements

• Massachusetts license in Radiology and Mammography required before start date
• ARRT certification required before start date

Health & Immunization Requirements (Must be completed before start date)

• MMR: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
• TB Test: Negative TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred (3 vaccines or proof of immunity or declination)
• Tdap: Preferred within last 10 years
• Positive PPD: If applicable, negative chest x-ray documentation required
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is needed for the role

Background & Professional Checks (Must be completed before start date)

• Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start, including international searches if applicable
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start
• National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Social Security Number Trace covering last 7 years
• Education verification of highest level achieved
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills checklist required for submission
• Candidate submission coversheet required for submission
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions

Additional Notes

• MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted
• All documentation must be current and updated if there is a break in service longer than 6 months
• No religious or medical exemptions allowed for influenza vaccine during flu season

This position requires thorough credentialing and compliance with Massachusetts healthcare regulations.
