Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Job Details

• Shift: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Weekend: Every 4th weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• Call: 1-2 nights per week, included in holiday rotation
• Start Date: ASAP preferred, but flexible

Experience & Certifications Required

• Minimum 6 months current Cath Lab experience in a high-volume setting
• Minimum 2 years overall experience
• Kentucky state certification (KBMIRT) required; can be pending at submission but must be obtained by start date
• ARRT certification required
• Cath Lab training required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required

Vaccination & Health Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Flu vaccine required (declinations not accepted; exemptions considered case-by-case)
• Tdap vaccine required within 10 years (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (THC not required)
• Fit mask test required within 12 months of start and annually thereafter (specific mask types required)
• Physical exam within 12 months, updated annually
• TB screening (QGold/Tspot or 2-step PPD) within 90 days, updated annually
• Immunity or vaccination proof for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B

Work Environment & Policies

• No cafeteria on-site; refrigerator and microwave provided
• Free parking in any unrestricted space
• Tattoos/piercings: No nose rings or gauged earrings allowed
• Nails: Must be natural and less than 1/4" in length; polish is acceptable
• Scrubs/apparel: No agency or brand logos allowed

Documentation & Compliance Requirements

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government-issued photo ID carried during work hours
• E-Verify or attestation
• Residency declaration if working on a compact license
• Background checks including 7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
• Education verification (diploma/transcript and third-party verification as applicable)
• State license primary source verification and NURSYS verification for RNs
• Various competency exams and certifications including medication test, dysrhythmia/EKG competency, pass/fail testing for EKG/medications
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Photo for badge (passport style on light background)
• References: Two clinical references within 2 years or hospital evaluation
• Skills checklist updated annually
• Performance/internal evaluations if previously employed at the facility

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are considered
• Request to keep return-to-office (RTO) requests to a minimum
• Locals within 75 miles accepted at a reduced rate (not relevant for healthcare workers)
