Description

Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel)

Location: Houston, Texas

Unit Information

Department: CT (covering Emergency Department, Outpatient, Inpatient)
Number of Beds: Not specified
Number of Staff: 10 (combination of full-time and PRN)
Shifts: Day and Night shifts staffed entirely by CT Techs
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Equipment: Fixed CT scanners
EMR System: Meditech (transitioning to Expanse starting 10/9)

Required Qualifications

Certifications:
- ARRT (R)
- ARRT (CT)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Licenses: Radiology Tech License

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a trauma facility (Level II trauma experience preferred)

Typical Procedures

All ordered Emergency Department CT exams
All inpatient CT exams
All outpatient CT exams

Work Environment & Culture

Teamwork mindset is essential
Dress Code: Green scrubs
Weekends and on-call schedules are variable

Contract Length

13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
