Job Opportunity: Technologist (Temp)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa

Job Description

• Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team providing and managing patient care.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• General X-rays, portable X-rays, and occasional OR C-arm operation on weekends.
• Downtown campus uses Cerner EMR and McKesson PACS.
• Local travelers are not accepted; candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limit of 1 day off request between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

• 13 weeks

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of general radiologic technology or multi-modality tech experience.
• At least 1 completed travel contract.
• Experience with GE, Carestream, or Siemens equipment.

Certifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified

Licensure

• Must hold a valid Iowa state license.

• This position offers same-day interviews.
• Night and holiday shifts include premium multipliers.
• On-call and charge/precept differentials apply.
• Billable overtime after 36-40 hours/week depending on shift.
