Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Job - York, Pennsylvania

Job Details

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Location: York, Pennsylvania
  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule:
    • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
    • Every other weekend
    • Holidays as needed (may be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays)
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Floating: Not applicable
  • Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
  • COVID-19: May care for COVID patients
  • Facility Environment: Tobacco and fragrance-free

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
    • EPIC experience required

Required Documentation & Compliance

Background Checks

  • 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
  • PA FBI Fingerprinting within 1 year of start (must be on file within first 45 days of assignment)
  • Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search (must be finalized prior to start)
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search (must be completed within 5 years; results must be on file within first 45 days)

Certifications & Competencies

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as applicable
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as applicable
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as applicable
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) as applicable
  • Tech Cert Verification (National) as applicable
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (required for RNs except OR and Home Health)
  • State License verification (primary source online)
  • NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (pass/fail exam required for RNs except OR and Home Health)

Facility Specific Documents

  • Clear, professional passport-style photo for badge
  • Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work (signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT within 90 days of start)
  • Commitment to Health & Wellness (review and sign)
  • Code of Conduct (review and sign)
  • Confidentiality Agreement (review and sign)
  • Non-Employee Affidavit (review and sign)
  • I9 Attestation (agency to complete)
  • Documentation Attestation (agency to complete)
  • Completion of required Learning Management System (LMS) modules for RNs and CNAs prior to start
  • Hepatitis B Declination form (if applicable)

Health Documents (must include two identifiers such as full name, DOB, or SSN)

  • Physical Exam within 90 days of start
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days (PPD not accepted)
  • Rubeola (Measles) - 2 vaccines or positive titer, with boosters if titers negative/equivocal
  • Mumps - 2 vaccines or positive titer, with boosters if titers negative/equivocal
  • Rubella - 2 vaccines or positive titer, with boosters if titers negative/equivocal
  • Hepatitis B - positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) or declination with booster
  • Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer, with boosters if titers negative/equivocal
  • Negative 9 Panel Drug Test within 1 year (Aya requirement only)
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption (declinations NOT accepted)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine, Medical/Religious Exemption, or Declination (agency forms accepted)
  • Respiratory Safety Clearance within 1 year, renewed annually

History & Employment Verification

  • 2 professional references within 3 years
  • Most recent resume or employment application
  • Annual skills checklist
  • Performance evaluations completed onsite during assignment

State Specific Requirements (Pennsylvania)

  • PA Child Abuse Search (must be completed within 5 years; results required within 45 days)
  • PA FBI Fingerprinting (must be completed within 5 years; results required within 45 days)
  • PA PATCH Search (must be finalized prior to start)
