Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work schedule: 36 hours per week, every other week (EOW)
- Required certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Required Credentials and Compliance for Onboarding
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid nursing license with verification dated within 30 days of start
- BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC certifications with current expiration dates
- Health & Safety:
- Fit test for respirator use
- COVID-19 vaccine (including booster by Sept 2025) or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- Influenza vaccine or approved exemption/declination for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 flu seasons
- Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to start date
- MMR vaccination or immunity proof
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
- Tdap vaccine (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)
- 2-step PPD or IGRA test for TB; positive results require chest x-ray within last year (for CT and certain states)
- Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
- Drug Screening:
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC) with Medical Review Officer (MRO) signature
- Professional Requirements:
- Signed Trinity Code of Conduct form
- Completed I9 form
- Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement signed
- Integrity and Audit Services form signed shortly before start
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
- Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
- Criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks dated within 30 days of start
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days of start
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure form signed
- OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check completed within 30 days of start
This position requires thorough credentialing and compliance with health and professional standards prior to start.
