CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Jacksonville, Florida
Position Details
- Specialty: CT Tech
- Employment Type: Travel
- Location: Jacksonville, Florida (Merrill FSED)
- Unit: CT, Emergency Department
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility & Unit Information
- Unit Beds: 10
- Staffing: 1 Tech per shift
- Equipment: GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT, AMX
- Documentation System: Meditech / GE Centricity PACS
- Floating Policy: Allowed to pick up extra shifts at other FSEDs or hospital units
- Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
- Dress Code: Black scrubs required
Job Requirements
- Experience: At least 1 year preferred
- Certifications Required: ARRT (R), BLS (CPR)
- Licenses: Radiology Tech License
- Skills Needed:
- CT, X-Ray, and CT post-processing
- Advanced skills in CT for stroke patients
- Procedures Performed: All CT and X-ray exams on unit
- Patient Experience: Professional and empathic interactions with patients
