Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Location: Clarksville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel

Job Overview

The Registered Nurse provides care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. The role requires applying the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, and delegation skills are essential to ensure safe delivery of care and supervision of assigned personnel.

Shift

Days: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
No 48-hour shifts

Contract Length

13 weeks

Requirements

Tennessee RN License
Minimum 2 years of experience
Certifications:
- BLS (ARC or AHA only accepted)
- ACLS
- NRP (Preferred; must obtain within 6 months if not currently certified)
- Fetal Monitoring (Preferred; must obtain within 6 months if not currently certified)
Experience with EMR system: Cerner
Patient ratio: 2:1
Must be willing to float to Nursery and Postpartum units if needed
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Scrubs color: Navy
Travelers submitted without all required information and certifications will be rejected
