Job Opportunity: RN Case Manager

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (5x8)
Start Date: January 12


Job Description

  • Seeking an RN Case Manager with experience in acute case management.
  • Traveler experience is a plus but not explicitly required.
  • Conditional nursing license accepted if the permanent licensure process has already begun. Assignment duration tied to conditional license validity, with possible extension upon permanent license issuance.

Licensure & Certification Requirements

Health & Safety Requirements

  • N95 Fit Test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite testing; must use specific form).

  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed.
  • TB test documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break.
  • Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred.
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred.

Background & Compliance Checks

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break.
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break.
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start and annually.
  • Social Security Number trace as part of background check.
  • Education verification required.

Submission Requirements

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state details.
  • Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above in the relevant skillset.
  • Skills checklist.
  • Candidate submission coversheet.
  • Color photo (headshot, no filters, plain background, no eyeglasses) taken within past 6 months.

Notes

  • Assignment duration is tied to the conditional license period; extensions reviewed upon permanent license issuance.
  • No religious or medical exemptions allowed for vaccine requirements.
  • Fit testing updates can be done at specific locations if assignment is extended.

This position is ideal for an RN Case Manager with acute care experience who is either licensed or in the process of obtaining permanent licensure in Massachusetts and is comfortable with comprehensive health and background compliance requirements.
