CT/Rad Tech Job Opportunity

Location: Worthington, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Minnesota State License
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT CT certification preferred but not required if CT experience is demonstrated

• Experience:

  • CT and X-ray experience required (specific years not stated, assume minimum competency)
  • No explicit mention of prior travel experience required

Job Details

• Work Setting:

  • Emergency Department (ED)
  • Portable work on floors and Critical Care Unit (CCU)
  • Coverage in Operating Room (OR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Outpatient areas as needed

• Procedures:

  • X-rays and CT scans
  • Portable X-rays
  • Potential surgery support

• Equipment Used:

  • GE Proteus X-ray room with Konica DR
  • GE P500 X-ray and fluoro room with Konica DR
  • Canon Aquilion SP CT scanner
  • Medrad contrast injector
  • Epic Radiant (charting system)
  • Sectra PACS (imaging system)
  • GE OEC Carm Elite
  • GE AMX 240 Portable X-ray

• Floating Assignments:

  • OR, ER, portable X-ray throughout the hospital
  • CT, X-ray, inpatient and outpatient areas

• Shift Details:

  • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
  • 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks
  • Approximately 60% overnight shifts, 40% daytime shifts

• Dress Code:

  • Gray scrubs

• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• If previously employed by this health system, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission
• Position is for local placements within an 80-mile radius
