Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Position

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule:

  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Monday: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM
• Call Required: No
• Floating: Yes, between X-ray and CT
• Locals Allowed: Yes (within 50 miles radius)
• First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 1 year in specialty
• Certifications Required:

  • AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Other certifications may be required depending on role specifics (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal check within the last year, updated annually
  • Education verification
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Transcript/Diploma may be required if education verification is not complete
• State License Verification (Primary Source)
• NURSYS Verification (for RNs)
• Competency Exams as applicable (Medication Test/Pharmacology, Core Parts I-III)
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Initial physical exam, updated annually
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year (updated annually)
  • Rubeola (Measles) – titer or 2 vaccines
  • Mumps – titer or 2 vaccines
  • Rubella – titer or 2 vaccines
  • Hepatitis B – titer, vaccine series, or declination
  • Varicella – titer, vaccine, or history of disease
• Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (not required annually)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination/Documentation required during flu season (9/1 – 4/30) for new candidates; exemptions require approval

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical or professional references
• Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the system (varies by length and number of assignments)
• Complete employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
