Travel RN - Med/Surg

Location: Thornton, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Med/Surg (61529)
Location: 5th floor, Main Hospital
Beds: 29 (can overflow to 39 including adults in peds)
Staff:
- Day Shift (10am-10pm): Charge nurse, 8 RNs, ACT
- Night Shift (10pm-10am): Charge nurse, 8 RNs, ACT
Patient Ratios: 5:1
Equipment: Remote telemetry
EMR System: MediTech

Required Skills & Certifications

Must have:
- Telemetry skills (ability to read strips)
Preferred:
- ACLS certification
Certifications:
- BLS
Licenses:
- Registered Nurse License

Typical Patient Care & Procedures

Post-op surgical patients
Cardiac drips including amiodarone and diltiazem
Heparin drips

Personality & Work Environment

Hard worker, fun personality, high energy
High energy unit looking forward to new teammates

Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg specialty
No prior travel experience required
