Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a CT Technologist to provide timely diagnostic services for both inpatient and outpatient settings under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include:

Performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
Conducting routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Requirements

ARRT (R) registration required
ARRT (CT) registration required
BLS certification required
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Science
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of experience in CT (preferred and required)
Must be located greater than 50 miles from the facility

Work Schedule

Weekdays, Monday through Thursday
10:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Must meet all credentialing and documentation requirements for submission.
